Self awareness & connection can heal;
I can help.

We will work together to help you better understand yourself and your patterns to navigate challenging transitions in life.

Therapy is not always easy, but I can help you experience a deeper connection to yourself: an existence that is more free from the expectations, fears, or ideas that have been keeping you stuck. A more embodied, more thoughtful, more present you.

I strive to foster safety and joy, yet challenge you. I also understand that we do not exist in a vacuum, and healing ourselves and coping with the challenges in our lives requires acknowledging and working against the systems of oppression that contribute to them.

Therapy with me is affirming of queer, trans, and kink identities; monogamous and non-monogamous relationship structures; and health-at-every-size body positivity. I see adults of all ages and teens 14 and older.

My Expertise

  • Together we will process hurt, improve communication, & strengthen bonds. I do this work with couples, multi-partner units, family members, coworkers, or friends

  • Whether you provided direct caregiving, had a complicated relationship, or have been estranged, your grief deserves tending to. We will process end-of-life and death, & manage the many ways that loss shows up in day-to-day life. This includes loss due to progressive illness, as well as sudden & traumatic loss.

  • As a palliative care trained clinician, I work with patients and family members from diagnosis of serious illness onward. I also provide acute support in debriefing traumatic medical events.

  • It can feel complicated and heavy to have ones career center around helping others, while needing help yourself.

    I started working with healthcare providers struggling with the cumulative effects of direct patient care while working inpatient. I work with doctors, nurses, mental health providers, hospital social workers, chaplains, body workers, & other providers on issues from burnout, secondary trauma, countertransference, to “taking home work.”

  • Having a deeper sense of yourself means exploring your sexuality and gender. Whether that is around identity, expression and presentation, navigating emotional complexities including joy and shame, managing transphobic or homophobic families or society, preparation for gender affirming surgery, or post-operative integration and connection.

    I also provide single session assessments and letters for gender affirming surgeries or hormones.
